Matthew 6: 25–34

Dove with Olives25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[e]?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6: 25–34

The Bible verses above are quite relevant in due of the economic situations around the world today. We live in very difficult times. All over the world, people are facing great hardship. Many are unemployed, homeless (sleeping under the bridges and creeks), starving, families are broken up, wars around the globe and you name it.

No matter what life may bring your way, hold on and always remember, the GOD of Abraham, the GOD of Isaac and the GOD of Jacob is still on HIS Throne. HE will never forsake you. He holds you in the palm of his hands. If he provides for the birds of the sky who do not toil or sow for themselves, he will surely provide for HIS children. GOD sent HIS ONLY SON, JESUS TO SAVE US. The suffering of OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST will not be in vain. You will surely overcome in JESUS NAME.

The only Solution to our current situation is JESUS CHRIST. Draw closer to GOD, seek his purpose for your life, ask him to guide you and the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD will show you the way.  Do not despair, there is nothing to gain from it. In the words of Saint Padre Pio: “Pray, hope and don’t worry. Worry is useless. God is merciful and will hear your prayers.” When you walk with GOD, there is no mountain that you cannot climb. Saint Paul says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13). So can you.

Love, Peace and Joy!
