The Transfiguration (Luke 9:28–36)

 The Transfiguration of Jesus Christ

28 About eight days after Jesus said this, he took Peter, John and James with him and went up onto a mountain to pray. 29 As he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became as bright as a flash of lightning. 30 Two men, Moses and Elijah, appeared in glorious splendor, talking with Jesus. 31 They spoke about his departure,[a] which he was about to bring to fulfillment at Jerusalem.

32 Peter and his companions were very sleepy, but when they became fully awake, they saw his glory and the two men standing with him. 33 As the men were leaving Jesus, Peter said to him, “Master, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.” (He did not know what he was saying.)

34 While he was speaking, a cloud appeared and covered them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud. 35 A voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him.” 36 When the voice had spoken, they found that Jesus was alone. The disciples kept this to themselves and did not tell anyone at that time what they had seen.

Luke 9:28–36

Let Our Lord Jesus Christ, the beloved SON of the Living GOD, the SAVIOR of the World, the LIGHT that illuminates all darkness, be our focus at lent and always. May we not drown out the voice of God in this noisy world, but listen to his voice in our hearts and minds, in the homilies and as we read the Bible.

May the Holy Trinity, GOD the Father, Son and Holy Spirit be praised, adored and loved now and forevermore, Amen. May the Immaculate Heart of Mary be our refuge and the way that will lead us to GOD, Amen.

Stay close to GOD always. Life without Christ is no life at all.  He will never abandon you. He is always right there, next to you, even though you may not see him.  We do not see the wind, yet we feel it. GOD loves you, just the way you are.

Do not be afraid, no matter what you have done, have not done or your circumstances in  life. GOD in His great wisdom knows why things are the way they are in your life and mine. Be strong and have faith in JESUS! Rejoice always, this is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice.  GOD is not through with you and me yet. Have a wonderful and blessed day! Victory is yours in JESUS Name.

Thank GOD for Pope Francis, may the Holy Spirit continue to guide and guard him, Amen.

Love, Peace and Joy!
